Current Status: Engineers are preparing to deploy the fix to the affected infrastructure, which will take approximately 3-4 days to complete. 

User Experience: There is no end-user impact; impact is limited to administrators only. Some administrators are encountering errors when attempting to manage Exchange Online user attributes and mailbox permissions via the Office 365 admin center. As a workaround, administrators are able to manage user attributes and permissions by clicking the “Edit Exchange properties” link to make changes via the Exchange Admin Center. Alternatively, administrators can navigate directly to the Exchange Admin Center via the following link: https://outlook.office365.com/ecp  

Customer Impact: While some customers have confirmed their organization is affected by this issue, analysis indicates that the scope of customers experiencing impact related to this event appears to be limited.

Current Status: The investigation determined that a planned change within the authentication infrastructure caused some users to be inadvertently blocked from accessing ‘Rich Client’ applications.

User Experience: Affected users are unable to access the Outlook client, Exchange ActiveSync (EAS) and Skype for Business. However, users can still access the Exchange Online service through Outlook Web App (OWA).

Customer Impact: While some customers have confirmed their organization is affected by this issue, analysis indicates that the scope of customers experiencing impact related to this event appears to be limited.

Er is vastgesteld dat een deel van de Exchange Online-service architectuur welke single sign-ons verwerkt werd afgebroken. Gebruikers kunnen vaak geen verbinding  maken met de Exchange Online-service met behulp van de Outlook-client en Exchange ActiveSync (EAS). Momenteel wordt door Microsoft de foutmeldingen onderzocht.

Er is zojuist een storing gemeld op het Office 365 platform van Microsoft.

Ingenieurs onderzoeken het probleem dat sommige gebruikers problemen ondervinden met de toegang of het gebruik van Exchange Online services of functies. Getroffen gebruikers zijn niet in staat om in te loggen op de Outlook-client. Als een tijdelijke oplossing gebruikers van Outlook Web App (OWA) kunnen gebruiken.
